Objectives:
The Whistle reached out to Navigate Research in order to conduct research into the popularity of major league sports in the U.S. among younger demographic age groups.
Solution:
Navigate compiled TV viewership data and examined viewership trends for nationally televised broadcasts of NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and MLS games among people between the ages of 6 and 17. Along with the overall analysis, Navigate provided a summary report that The Whistle can use to reveal youth popularity trends to their clients going forward.
Results:
The Whistle is currently utilizing Navigate’s research and reports to explain the behavior of youth sports fan, and how technology is shaping their viewing behavior and interest levels of various sports leagues across the country.
